The founder and director of TEGCIC.org.uk is dedicated to fostering a supportive community for men in Teesside, particularly those from BAME backgrounds. With a focus on mental health, our mission is to create safe spaces where men can connect, share experiences, and build resilience together.

Under their leadership, TEG has initiated weekly peer-support sessions that encourage open conversations about mental health, reducing stigma and promoting understanding among participants. These sessions are designed to empower individuals to express their feelings and struggles, fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie.

Additionally, the director has prioritised regular social activities that help combat social isolation, ensuring that all members have the opportunity to engage with others in a fun and relaxed environment. These activities range from group outings to workshops, all aimed at strengthening community ties and promoting mental wellness.

Recognising the unique challenges faced by men from BAME backgrounds, the leadership team at TEG actively seeks to address and dismantle the barriers these individuals encounter in accessing mental health support. Through community outreach initiatives, they strive to raise awareness of mental health issues and provide resources that empower men to seek the help they need.

The vision for TEGCIC.org.uk is to create a more resilient, connected community where every man feels valued, understood, and supported. Together, we can challenge stigma, reduce isolation, and build a brighter future for all.
