Our Projects: Coming Soon
We are in the process of applying for grants and funding to kickstart our "Move, Connect and Escape" project. This initiative aims to enhance the mental wellbeing of men, particularly those from BAME backgrounds, by offering tailored activities that promote physical health, community connection, and a break from daily routines.
Through engaging activities such as group walks, fitness sessions, and workshops, we will create supportive environments where men can share their experiences and learn from one another. The project also aims to break down the barriers that prevent many from seeking help and reduce social isolation.
Our application will outline the significant need for this project, highlighting the unique challenges faced by our target group and the proven impact of physical activity on mental health. We will detail our outreach strategy to ensure we reach those who may feel disconnected or hesitant to participate in traditional mental health services.
Securing funding is crucial for the success of "Move, Connect and Escape" as it will provide the necessary resources to facilitate these activities, promote community engagement, and establish sustainable support networks. We are committed to building a resilient community that challenges stigma and fosters positive mental health outcomes for all participants.
We anticipate submitting our grant applications by the end of this month and look forward to sharing updates on our progress and the impact this project will have on the lives of men in Teesside.
